I started seriously writing about five years ago. My first novel is taking me the longest to write and is giving me the most heartache when it comes to editing and revising. The second novel I have close to being finished and I started writing it in November 2006. I'm not sure if it's due to me gaining confidence as a writer or if the story just wants to be written before my first novel.
